Went to rock-climbing today with a few friends. One of them was the coach because he's really good in it. So he was teaching and all. Was really cool.
Among us, three of us were first comers. And one of my housemates was able to reach the top at the very first try. She's like totally amazing. The way she picked up everything is like totally cool. And the third time she went, she's like doing the hooking of rope and all already. Damn cool I tell you!!!
The other friend also managed to get to the top at the end. For me, I was really just practically struggling through the whole time. lol!!! Actually, it's quite expected because the strength of my arms are like super horrible and for one thing, i don't do sports normally.
Anyway, had a very nice time doing rock-climbing indeed other than the sore part. Well, other than having a super good-looking and nice coach, it's really a very nice sports. Maybe I'll be able to reach the top next time I go. Hihihi...Well, not keeping hopes high here. hahahahaha...
Guilt

Recently I found out that the lie that I told not long ago to trick a friend into doing something that friend wouldn't do ended up pushing that friend over the cliff. Well, technically similar.
So, these few days I was hit by pangs of guilt now and then. Well, when I first told the lie, I just said it because I was way too pissed off by how competitive this friend of mine was, and that friend reacted just the way I predicted. Well, except that the consequences weren't as what I expected. Haih..... First, there was rejection and then humiliation and then sadness. Yup, I didn't expect that the little lie I told actually brewed the ultimate poison of the above feelings and that my friend actually was intoxicated by it.
Damn...as I said those words, the image of me being a witch, stirring in a cauldron suddenly flashed into my mind. Lol!!!! Am I guilty as convicted? Hmm...I can actually come up with a few defences of my own, oh well, I did my friend some good that this friend actually now knows what this friend longed to know before right?
Anyway, hopefully this friend of mine will get the healing potion soon then. Just as long as the healing potion doesn't involve me in any part of it, thank you. I'm as messed up as I possibly could now, so I seriously need some peace than having to share my limited mind span in making another love potion or whatever for this friend.

Seriously, after a few nights of not being able to sleep, of course I was very happy the first night when I could finally just slipped into sleep like in a blink of an eye. Well then, that's good alright. But then, the bad thing is that, after that night, I find myself not being able to stay awake for more than two to three hours nowadays.
I mean, what the heck?!!! I seriously can't figure out my own body anymore. What's the meaning of all these?? My own body trying to play a trick on me? Great!!! Having to deal with ridiculous people is not enough, now I have to deal with my own body? Just great!
Anyway, as the days slowly creeping by, actually no, more like fastly flying by, I must say, the pressure is definitely settling in as I count down the days to my final exams. And it's definitely not helpful with the messed up exam terms. And having the lunatic state of body, I sure hope I can deal with everything alright. I would be so thankful to all readers of my blog to pray for me, pray for a good health and peace of mind. Thank you so much.

Insomnia

After a few sleepless nights, I finally can understand why those people suffering from insomnia might actually go crazy.
Seriously, the fact that I want to sleep but couldn't sleep is really driving me nuts. I know that I'm lacking of sleep and I really want to just sleep but somehow just couldn't sleep. The countless times of lying on bed and with the eyes fighting not to close, I mean, now I can totally understand the feelings of those people who eventually become depressed because of insomnia.
It's not that i don't want to sleep. Even my body's telling me that it wants to sleep and I'm waaaayyyy tired beyond words, but these eyes of mine just wouldn't close willingly. I tried not thinking about things before going to sleep but thoughts just wouldn't stop coming in. And the stress of not being able to sleep is really not helping my brain when it's quite exhausted to begin with.
Haih...I'm going to end up crazy if I don't do anything about it somehow. Maybe I should get help? I don't know...I'm just quite stressed up now about not being able to sleep.

After a whole night not until 3am - 4am, having to wake up to jogging at 7am was like a total nightmare for me two days ago. And the fact that I hadn't slept a nice sleep for the past few nights were really annoying to me as well.
Then, on Saturday, after I told a friend of mine that I couldn't sleep, he asked me, "Why you couldn't sleep?" For a moment, I really wanted to tell the truth and say, "It's because I was thinking about you." What an irony it was!!! Hahaha...well, he's not really the main reason behind my imsomnia but one of the things that popped into my head was him. Just as many trivial things came into my head, he's just one of them.
Haih...after not getting enough sleep, thankfully I finally got my sleep last night. I couldn't believe that I actually slept at 10pm. Definitely, it was a welcoming sleep .

Haih..............
I found myself couldn't sleep again so I ended up blogging. It's seriously getting more and more annoying that I can't seem to be able to sleep. And the worst thing is, not only I couldn't sleep, the stupid headache that's been bugging me when I was in Malaysia has made its major comeback. And for the last two days, I could find myself suddenly clutching my head anytime of the day and felt like just screaming the hell out of my lungs because of the excruciating pain in my head.
However, one thing i do realise is that, I do know the reason behind my imsomnia. Things are actually getting out of my hands and I couldn't help but keep on thinking about these things when I tried sleeping because there's this period of time before you sleep, when you're trying to make yourself to sleep and when everything's settling down, that's when you start thinking right? Yup, that's exactly the irony here. Because while I'm trying hard to sleep, more and more things somehow tend to pop up into my head and more and more things I have to think about...so in the end?....Couldn't sleep!!!!
Totally not a good thing!!!!

There's this thought that kept on popping into my head every now and then recently. It's about a statement that I was not being a good friend.
I guess, it's quite true to some friends of mine but definitely NOT TRUE to this friend of mine. For one thing, this friend actually betrayed my trust at the beginning in order for this friend to have some conversation topic with other people. This friend of mine actually went and told everyone my secrets. And I became the "laughing stock" and the "news" for this friend and this friend's friends to talk about. So what kind of friend is my friend exactly?
And there this friend goes, telling everyone what kind of friend I am so on and so forth? Using a particular adjective to describe me which of course the adjective was introduced to this friend of mine myself. Lol!!!! Pathetic isn't it? And there this friend goes, being goody two face....
Haih... I also don't know why I'm so emotional about this all of a sudden. I don't even know why I'm being emotional recently. I just suddenly feel that it's unfair for me that this friend of mine went to tell everyone how bad I am a person and yet this friend of mine get to play good guy. Aiyer!!!!

Should I or should I not do something daring for once in my life?

Haih....something kept on popping into my head these past few days which caused my insomnia for quite a few nights...
For one thing, if I really do this thing, I'm gonna have to dig a hole and hide if things get out of hand. If it's alright, of course, I'll get incomparable happiness...lol...
"Chances are?" you might say. Well, that's the thing that's preventing from doing this daring and yet stupid thing as well. Chances are as slim as a needle or whatever it is they used to describe slim. Haih....
In the end, of course, I've come to a conclusion that satisfies myself. I should let everything proceed naturally. And another thing is, I don't even know how long this thing will last anyway. The most, if no more "interesting" things happen, probably in half a year maybe? The least, it'll actually be just a few weeks. So might as well, keep it a low profile right? And I'm really getting old, I should probably lay off the risky stuffs... Yup, I totally agree with myself on that. Lol..... Too much self-talking....Hahahahaha...

There's this guy that I know from outside school and he's like super good looking. Basically, he's like the best looking guy I've known so far. Anyway, before yesterday, I didn't exactly know him. When we met, we just smiled and were always pretty shy with each other. So we really didn't talked much before. Well, i would say that we hadn't even spoken to each other ten words before.
Anyway, yesterday, as we were involved in an activity together, where there were just four of us in a small group. So as we walked around the city, there were times where we were left alone as the two others were busy with other stuffs and so we talked quite a lot yesterday. I got to know about him more and him me kinda thing. And as expected, he did think that I was not a practising Christian.
Anyway, after yesterday's activity, I can really see he's honestly a great guy. He's very compassionate towards those that are less fortunate than he is. He's very considerate and really knows how to take care of everyone around him. Despite that we barely knew each other, he really was watching out for me as well during yesterday's activity. And he's really the type that you can have fun with. I really like his character a lot. And there's this time when on our way back, we met a dog that's like a bit high, then another friend of mine asked him to lead the way. After seeing that my friend was a bit scared, after he walked past the dog, he kinda sheltered the dog from us and asked us to walk first.
And there were a few times when I was pouring out from the thermoflask hot tea that I accidentally spilled a few times on his hands. And he didn't even get mad but just kept on encouraging me, saying that he took a few weeks to understand that as well.
I really had a nice time in getting to know such a nice guy like him. That's when I was thinking, it's just so impossible to be so perfect. How can someone be so good looking and has a nice heart as well.....

As spring comes, more and more people are coming out and strolling in the park opposite my apartment. And you know, the best thing about living across a park is that you get to see many different things happening in the park. Heartwarming things that will just send you warming inside out.
Just like today, as the sun set, I saw a family of three, a father, mother and a maybe one year old toddler. And this family brought along a small dog with them, the kind that is white and fluffy kind. So the dog was walking in front of the family, totally happy, wagging its tail. The toddler was walking on its own with its father and mother totally relaxed beside him. All of a sudden, the toddler walked to the opposite direction in a very fast pace. At first, the parents didn't realize it. When they did realize, the toddler has walked a few feet away from them. The way the toddler was walking was totally cute. The father quickly ran after the toddler, and scooped the toddler up when he reached the toddler. Then the dog sensing that something was happening behind it, ran towards the father and the toddler while the mother was just being plain satisfied and laughed.
It was really nice to see all this kind of things happening around you. It makes you think that the this place is actually filled with humans as well.

Should our lives only revolve around the person we like?

Some time ago, a friend of mine said something to me which led me to notice about how a friend of ours's life only revolve around the girl that he likes. How he only hangs out around her, how he only has activities that MUST involve her, how he only has friends that the girl has....etc. Basically, his life is really just built around the girl.
So I was thinking, is that how it should be with people that are in a relationship? But then, what if (all I'm saying is "what if") their relationship doesn't end as expected? What would have become of the life of the person? I mean, he or she will just notice that he or she has nothing besides those that are in common with the person they were with right? I guess, basically, that's why they always say that when they break-up, their world is being taken from them?
Ahem...I'm not being judgemental here. But to me, it seems rather.....pathetic isn't it? To have your world revolve around just one person? I mean, even within family, we don't just have our lives around our family members. We go out and meet people and widen our world right? But that doesn't mean that we don't love our family right?
I mean, for me, I don't think that it's necessary to spend 24/7 around the person I like. I mean, I'm sure the person I'm with would feel that I'm too "sticky" around him right? And I'm sure, in order to do everything in sync with the person I like would make everyone else around me uncomfortable and unhappy right? I guess, it's healthier to have my work and my friends at my own pace.
But then again, I guess different people will have different opinion. Some people think that their lives should be just based on the person they love. It's just different for me.

Friends = Insurance policy??

Whoa....it's definitely been a while since I blogged. Anyway, during my short holiday back in Kuching, suddenly something came into my head - I realise that friends are sometimes like an insurance policy tailored specially for you.
Think about it like this,
Your friends pay you the kind of attention and care that is solely tailored just for you like how an insurance policy covers the different aspects and requirements according to the demand of the contributer. You'll notice how friends treat every other friend differently than how they treat another. This kind of treatment may be perfect for this one person but may not for the other one, so you'll have to fish out another kind of "special" treatment to this other person.
You pay a lot of feelings and heart into your friendship but you don't expect anything in return when things are going well, but when you meet any difficulties in life, you sure hope that the "payment" you've made before will somehow come back and give you the kind of kindness and concern you've invested. And this is exactly like insurance policy isn't it? You keep on paying for the insurance policy but you don't expect to get the money unless you've met with an accident or with any difficulties.
Hahahaha....of course, like insurance policy, the more you pay, the more compensation you'll get. Likewise, friendships are just like that, the more you care and the more sincere you are, your friendships will just grow into those insurance policies where the compensation is really a lot.
